Who can join?

Anyone interested in motion design, no prior art skills needed.

What software is taught?

We focus on Adobe After Effects and have currently integrated ChatGPT, Nano Banana and Hailuo as part of an introduction to gen ai.

How does AI help storytelling?

We used to teach people to storyboard the traditional way but with the advent of AI, students who lack in the areas of drawing can easily level the playing field in terms of rapid prototyping and concept planning. These we cover extensively in the 36 hour course programme

When is the last course run?

The final run for the year is December 29th, 2025.

Is there a portfolio project?

Yes, you’ll create a polished portfolio piece combining all your skills.

So are you MAGEs or Spark Social Lab?

BOTH! I am NOT a stake holder at MAGEs but I do have a level of ownership on the Motion Design module. This module is a 36 hour course for up skilling professionals but over 40% of our students are business owners and side hustlers who want to learn a professional skill. So you still sign through MAGEs and their wonderful student management team will take care of the rest.
